A singer and songwriter in Phoenix, Arizona, Benjie offers musical takes on everything from love and food to politics and religion. His songs are quirky, catchy, and touching, often leading to comparisons with Randy Newman, Jonathan Richman, and Bo Burnham. Since 2023, he’s performed as a songwriter at venues throughout Arizona, including in Phoenix (Crescent Ballroom, the Womack, the Dubliner, Linger Longer Lounge), Flagstaff (Mountain Top Tap Room), Prescott (Raven Cafe), and Tucson (Owls Club). In 2025 he played his first solo tour of the southwest U.S., and currently he's back in Phoenix, recording new material.
